1. Introduction
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Easemylife platform, available at https://easemylifetools.com (the "Platform"), operated by Easemylife, a proprietorship registered in Mumbai, India.
By creating an account, accessing, or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you should not use the Platform.
These Terms apply to all users of the Platform, including administrators, team members, and any person who accesses the Platform through a Business Account.
2. Definitions
Throughout these Terms, the following words have specific meanings:
- "Service" refers to the Easemylife platform and all its features, tools, and functionalities, including but not limited to expense tracking, payroll processing, and reporting tools.
- "User" refers to any individual who accesses or uses the Platform, whether as an account administrator or as a team member invited to a Business Account.
- "Business Account" refers to the organisational account created on the Platform, representing a single business entity, under which multiple Users may operate.
- "Content" refers to any data, text, files, reports, or other information that a User uploads, creates, or stores on the Platform.
- "Subscription" refers to the paid plan selected by a Business Account, which determines the features, usage limits, and number of Users available.
3. Account Registration
To use the Platform, you must register for an account. When registering, you agree to the following:
- You will provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process.
- You will keep your account information up to date at all times.
- Each registration corresponds to one business entity. You may not create multiple accounts for the same business without prior written approval from Easemylife.
- The person who registers the Business Account is the account administrator. The administrator is responsible for all activity that occurs under their account, including actions taken by team members they invite.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for restricting access to your account.
- You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account on the Platform.
4. Subscription and Billing
Easemylife offers both free and paid plans:
- Free Trial: New Business Accounts may be eligible for a free trial period. No credit card is required to start a free trial. The duration and features available during the trial will be communicated at the time of sign-up.
- Paid Plans: Paid subscriptions are billed either monthly or annually, as selected by the account administrator at the time of purchase. Pricing details are available on the Platform.
- Payment Processing: Payments for customers in India are processed through Razorpay. Payments for international customers are processed through Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to the terms of the applicable payment processor.
- Auto-Renewal: All paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled before the renewal date.
- Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period. No refunds will be issued for partial billing periods.
- Taxes: All prices listed on the Platform are exclusive of applicable taxes. For customers in India, Goods and Services Tax (GST) will be charged at the prevailing rate and reflected in your invoice.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. Specifically, you agree not to:
- Use the Platform for any illegal, fraudulent, or unauthorised purpose.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the Platform or any part of it.
- Share your login credentials with anyone outside your Business Account, or allow any unauthorised person to access the Platform through your account.
- Use automated scripts, bots, scrapers, or any other automated means to access the Platform, extract data, or interfere with its operation.
- Upload, transmit, or distribute any malware, viruses, ransomware, or other malicious software through the Platform.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform, other accounts, or any systems or networks connected to the Platform.
- Use the Platform in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair its functionality or interfere with other Users' use of the Platform.
Easemylife reserves the right to investigate and take appropriate action against any User who violates these acceptable use rules, including suspending or terminating their account.
6. Data Ownership
Your data belongs to you. Easemylife does not claim ownership of any Content you upload, create, or store on the Platform.
By using the Platform, you grant Easemylife a limited, non-exclusive licence to access, process, store, and display your Content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service. This licence exists only for as long as your Content remains on the Platform.
You may export your data at any time using the data export features available within the Platform. Easemylife will make commercially reasonable efforts to ensure your data is available for export in standard, machine-readable formats.

7. Service Availability
Easemylife strives to keep the Platform available and operational at all times. However, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. You acknowledge the following:
- The Platform is provided on a best-effort basis. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee any specific uptime percentage.
- Planned maintenance windows will be communicated to Users in advance via email or in-app notification. Where possible, we will schedule maintenance during off-peak hours.
- The Platform may experience downtime due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to server failures, network issues, third-party service outages, or force majeure events.
- No Service Level Agreement (SLA) or uptime guarantee is provided for accounts on the free tier. Paid plans may include specific availability commitments, which will be detailed in the relevant plan description.
8. Intellectual Property
The Platform, including its source code, design, user interface, graphics, logos, trademarks, and all related documentation, is the exclusive property of Easemylife and is protected under applicable intellectual property laws.
Nothing in these Terms grants you any right, title, or interest in the Platform itself, other than the limited right to use it in accordance with these Terms and your Subscription plan.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, or otherwise exploit any part of the Platform without prior written permission from Easemylife.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:
- The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available," without any warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
- Easemylife does not warrant that the Platform will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted, or that any defects will be corrected.
- In no event shall Easemylife's total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of the Platform exceed the total amount of fees paid by you to Easemylife in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
- In no event shall Easemylife be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, loss of business opportunity, or business interruption, regardless of the cause of action or the theory of liability, even if Easemylife has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
10. Account Termination
Termination by Easemylife: Easemylife may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Except in cases of severe or repeated violations, we will provide you with reasonable notice (typically via email) and an opportunity to address the issue before suspension or termination takes effect.
Termination by You: You may delete your account at any time through the account settings on the Platform, or by contacting us at service@eml.net.in.
Data Retention After Deletion: Upon account deletion, your data will be retained for a period of ninety (90) days to allow for recovery in case of accidental deletion. After the 90-day retention period, all your data will be permanently purged from our systems. During the retention period, you may contact us to request restoration of your account and data.
11. Modifications to Terms
Easemylife reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes:
- For material changes, we will provide at least thirty (30) days' notice before the updated Terms take effect. Notice will be provided via email to the address associated with your account and/or through a prominent notice on the Platform.
- For minor or clarifying changes that do not materially affect your rights or obligations, we may update the Terms with a revised effective date.
- Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date of any updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of those changes.
- If you do not agree with the modified Terms, you should stop using the Platform and may cancel your account before the changes take effect.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Subject to the dispute resolution provisions in Section 13 below, any legal proceedings arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
13. Dispute Resolution
In the event of any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of the Platform, the parties agree to the following process:
- Amicable Resolution: The parties shall first attempt to resolve the dispute amicably through good-faith negotiation. Either party may initiate this process by sending a written notice to the other party describing the dispute. The parties shall have thirty (30) days from the date of such notice to reach a resolution.
- Arbitration: If the dispute is not resolved through negotiation within the 30-day period, the dispute shall be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, as amended from time to time. The seat and venue of arbitration shall be Mumbai, India. The arbitration shall be conducted in English. The arbitral tribunal shall consist of a sole arbitrator mutually appointed by the parties. The decision of the arbitrator shall be final and binding on both parties.
